There is no better
feeling than to call a client and tell them their IRS problems are
over. No more worrying or looking over their shoulder. It's just over!
Clients tell me it's like getting a new lease on life, a fresh start. They finally have a reason to get up in the morning!
Listen to how some of them have experienced the end of their IRS problems as a result of working with our firm—
Personal and Professional Service at a Reasonable Cost
I called a National firm to try to
solve my tax problem. I sent them money up front and then never
could get back to a live person. When they did get back to me later
I could never talk to the same person. When they found out that
I had payroll problems in addition to my individual tax problems they
got unreasonable with their demands for money and records. They did
nothing for me, NO RESULTS and didn’t refund what money I had sent
them up front.
I then went to Dick Jones at Wood Jones
and Associates and he was more reasonable with his fees and time frame
that I had to get my records to him.
I hired Wood Jones and Dick drove to
Kansas City to go with me to meet with the IRS. Dick has gone
out of his way to help me solve my problem and though we do not have
it finished, thanks to Dick and his firm’s help I finally can see
a little light at the end of the tunnel. At least I know that
Wood Jones be walking with me every step of the way.
I would highly recommend them if you
have a tax problem. They will give you personal and professional
service at a reasonable cost.

Taxes Settled For Oil Company At 5% Of Amount Owed
After getting behind on
payroll taxes and personal taxes, this oil company owner filed Chapter
13 bankruptcy and that didn't work. Dick Jones was successful in an
Offer in Compromise with the IRS at 5% of the amount owed.
"Mr. Jones was able to
negotiate a settlement for me from the IRS saving me over 95% of
federal tax owed, including 2 years' payroll taxes.
Mr. Jones is a very skillful negotiator in tax matters of all kinds."
Dan W., Salem, MO
Individual Wins IRS Audit
"As a repeated client of
Wood-Jones, I recommend them highly for their expertise in IRS audits.
Wood-Jones has saved me thousands of dollars. They are friendly,
courteous and always call you by your first name. They make a person
feel welcome."
I thought I could handle it
myself. Everytime I sent the IRS the information they wanted, they
would send me another letter saying they needed more.
I took all the information to
Wood-Jones; Dick told me what information to get and that he would take
care of it. After about 3 weeks, we heard it was cleared for 1997.
All I can say is, you can put all your trust in Wood-Jones & Associates. Dick loves crunching numbers and beating the IRS!!!
They are always honest; they
will never tell you something unless they know it's the truth. They
always keep in touch to let you know what's going on. I advise anyone
with IRS problems to let Wood-Jones deal with it for you. It will save
you lots of headaches and lots of money."

Moving Company Saves $30,000 With Offer In Compromise
Unforseen circumstances caused
this moving company to get behind on payroll and personal taxes. Dick
Jones was able to successfully settle the tax situation. The moving
company is still operating and is free of tax problems.
"During the past 3½ years my
company has experienced some unforseen, unavoidable and expensive
situations. Consequently, I allowed my 941 deposits to fall behind to
the point where recovery would be long and difficult.
Dick Jones called on me and
suggested this settlement offer to the IRS. I am so grateful and happy
I decided to trust him with his settlement idea. It has saved me a
tremendous amount of money and mental anguish.
I highly recommend Dick Jones
and his offer for settlement. I discovered afterwards my piece of mind
was worth more than a dollar settlement, but only possible through the
dedicated efforts of Dick Jones. I highly recommend his services."

Individual Avoids $20,000 Personal Assessment
To Whom It May Concern;
This
letter is to document the professionalism and outstanding service
rendered to me by Mr. Dick Jones of Wood Jones Associates in Rolla,
Missouri.
After an unsuccessful business arrangement in 1995
with an individual who stole my money, I was then pursued relentlessly
by the IRS. The IRS attempted to collect from me personally funds owed
by the company by which I was employed.
Even though I in no way
met the requirements for a personal assessment against me, the IRS
attempted to collect over $20,000.00 from me. I furnished documentation
and affidavits proving conclusively that I was not responsible for the
funds owed. When I attempted to communicate with them, all the IRS did
was send abusive letters demanding payment and threaten to levy my
wages, bank accounts, and assets. In one case an IRS agent told me "We
just come after everybody and let you guys duke it out in court." I was
totally dismayed when I was told that the IRS made no effort to collect
from the individuals actually responsible for the funds owed.
Over
the next six years, I was represented by an attorney and a CPA. They
were totally ignored by the IRS and the letters and threats became more
and more demanding.
I heard Dick Jones on the radio discussing
IRS problems and took my situation to him. When the IRS attempted to
levy my wages, Dick Jones stopped the levy in a day. He was able to cut
through the red tape and bureaucracy and today informed me that my case
had successfully been settled.
Dick and his staff are true
professionals, and they know how to handle IRS problems. I would offer
the following advice, Never try to deal with the IRS yourself. Never
sign anything presented to you by the IRS at an interview. Get
professional assistance immediately. Whatever your problem, you will
get the best advice and professional service from Dick Jones.
Yours truly;

Wood Jones saves former Restaurant owner $89,000
I owned a restaurant in the late 1990’s and got behind with payroll taxes and in filing my income tax returns. Dick helped me out at that time to keep the IRS off of me, while I was operating my business. Finally business fell off where I couldn’t keep the restaurant open any longer.
Then I hired a lawyer to file bankruptcy and they really didn’t do me any good. I filled an Offer in Compromise and IRS turned it down. Both of these things extended the statute.
Well guess what a month ago here came the IRS again after all these years, wanting the $107,000 that I owed them because the statute of limitations had been extended and still had three years to go plus I was again behind on filing two years tax returns.
Since Wood Jones had helped before I called them and Dick got my income taxes filed and caught up and talked to the IRS on my behalf. He was successful in set me up on a payment arrangement until the statute of limitations expires and it saved me $89,000.
Wood Jones looks for the best way to solve the problem and it isn’t always an Offer In Compromise that will solve the problem. I would recommend Wood Jones and Associates to solve your tax problem they are friendly and professional.

Dear Mr. Jones & Staff,
I am writing to let you all know how much I greatly appreciated your
services. With your help, there has been a big burden lifted off my
shoulders, getting my offer in Compromise accepted. I really felt like
I couldn’t see daylight, with what I owed the IRS. Now that I’m widowed
and on a fixed income.
Also, I need to let you know how nice it was to deal with such a
courteous, friendly and caring office. Each time I called or had a
problem, it was taken care of immediately with such friendliness and
courtesy! It was a pleasure to be taken care of by your business.
Thank you all so much,
Brenda H

Just wanted to drop you a note to express our gratitude for your
efforts in getting our tax bill with the IRS settled. The twenty
thousand dollars you saved us makes it possible for us to finally take
a deep breath and move on with a normal life. Not having that tax bill
hanging over our heads is like having a huge weight lifted off our
shoulders.
Please feel free to use this letter as a testimonial for
future clients. If I come across anyone with similar problems with the
IRS I will not hesitate to recommend your services.
Thanks again.

I signed a tax return with my ex-husband that he didn't pay leaving us both liable. I then got my wages levied for the amount that I owed.
I went to Wood Jones and Mr. Jones called IRS, and they told him that if we faxed up my last three pay check stubs they would release the levy. We did that the same day and IRS did not follow through.
Mr. Jones staying on top of it called back a couple of days later and talked to a different person and go my wage levy released before my next pay check was due.
I am so grateful to Wood Jones for all their help and staying on top of my situation, because if I had gotten my wages levied I would not have had money to pay my bills and might have lost my home.
